WHY BREAKTHROUGH SUCKS
Well, hello people
I'm here on a mission, a mission to DESTROY ea games and its patheticness, I personally waited up for HOURS to play the breakthrough demo, hoping for a miracle, and oh boy did i get one, a PATHETIC game with a few new skins, a few new levels, tanks that suck, mine detectors, and the same PATHETIC HACKED OUT ENGINE, I personally have made a force models hack, chameleon skins, neon skins, no smoke, no recoil, no trees, no fog. Why is that sad? because it took me all of 2 hours to do. There are already cheats out there for spearhead that will work 100% with breakthrough, ea needs to learn some respect for people instead of handing us, THEIR CUSTOMERS, off like flies. All I ask from a game is some decent support, some patches that ACTUALLY FIX SOMETHING, not just new skins, weapons & levels. Now with the new bundle "MOHAA DELUXE" these buyers get an extra cd with some songs. Bare in mind that these songs are ALREADY IN MOHAA, you just need to know where to look to find them, then put them on cd. What a hard task. Now I know some people wanted the cd for some reason, and have contacted ea only to get IGNORED and PUSHED AWAY. What great support, its not like every player wants this pathetic attempt at selling more games. The normal mohaa has an aimbot, that will shoot anything, you can choose the team, you need no extra skins, no nothing. Works about 90% effective in getting headshots. So ea where is the PATCH? I'll tell you where, on the porn site their staring at right now thats where! In conclusion, i ask you not to support this PATHETIC onslaught of useless merchandise by ea. If you do, you are bringing down the gaming community as a whole by letting other great companies go out of business. Thank you for your time. COD_CRUSADER P.S - If you want to contact ea with your disgust, I have found 2 of their emails; hostmaster2@ea.com, eagamesonline@ea.com. |
Man
Breakthrough wasnt even worth the download. Its horrible. Sorry to say, but the damn Spearhead Demo was better. Oh well, I didnt expect much from it, so no disappointment here.
|
What were you expecting? oOo: I just hoped for the best but expected the worse. hake: I probably won't be buying it. I'll save my money and get Call of Duty!
|
I played one map and it feels like spearhead but with better aiming physics. I think people may have to wait for the full game. Since you can drive vehicles and shit.....maybe that will revive it a little bit.

Well lets hope it wont be like BF1942 but i still wont be buying this its crap in my view. |
we already knew it was gonna suck. im not even gonna look at Breakthrough, im just saving up for CoD and waiting for multiplayer demo...
|
I must say I was really looking forward to the BT demo. After playing it for 15 minutes, I quickly uninstalled it. Terrible FPS and mucho lag. Very disappointing. At least I can thank EA for releasing the demo because now I will not buy BT. I'll go back to playing the original until CoD arrives. We have a server running at 64.5.63.3 if anyone wants to play this garbage.

Alright, this is probably gonna make me look liek a jackass but......I thought the demo was good, sure it could run better and people with better connections could have made a server besides dsl bastards. buuuuut, if you like spearhead i think you'd like it. I like spearhead, so shoot me. I still think that pacific assault is gonna put everything to shame though!!!!

hey hey! there is someone like me out there! oOo: i love this demo, i think its great. the new weapons are outstanding. the two maps are large, intricate , and well designed. i enjoyed sh, and for me, they improved it here with BT. if you didnt play sh, and hated it, you wont enjoy all of the subtle differences they have made. |
Demo isn't all that bad... but heres my beef.
Why release an expansion pack to a game that still has tons of problems? Can't we spend the time fixing the issues that need to be corrected? Instead they opted to do things half-assed by throwing out 95% completed projects. That 5% may not seem like a big issue, until people start to exploit it. Maybe its just me, but my work ethic has always been "if your not going to give it 110% then don't even bother" So, i guess ill go on record by saying this... If EA begins to re-support games like allied assault, and spearhead. To a point where the majority of the gaming public is satisfied, I might reconsider purchasing Breakthrough. Until then, they have lost me as a customer. They have just pushed me too far... Not to mention the fact that they canceled Air Warrior Online (BASTARDS!!!!!!!!!!!! - NOW THERE WAS ONE HELL OF A COMMUNITY) |
I didn't like the SH demo, but the Breakthrough one... Well, I really like it a lot. Obviously, a lot of work has been put into graphics. Now I'm just waiting to try it on a really good server with a reliable connection.
And from a modding point of view, it's more than most of us expected. Yes, I'm going to buy it for sure. Eager to buy it, I could add. Regards, YoChoy |
Yawn, A game is a Game, quit bitching and move on to another game
|
it'd be better if the maps didn't lag.....
