Just wondering. When I am playing Medal of Honor: Allied Assault in a multiplayer game I like to get really into it. I will call the oposing team by their slang negitive names I think its spelt, Kroughts. Anyway. I like to get really into a game like this, so I was wondering if anyone would get offended if I did this in game? It would only be to get fuly into it and would not be meant in any personal way. Also, does anyone else like doing this?

2nd question. Has anyone in your family fought or died in WWII?
My grandfather on my fathers side fought for the American Allies in a fighter plane, shot down. And another that lived on my mothers side but entered the war right at the end, so who cares, hehe.

It's spelled as "Krauts". And I won't be offended as long as I'm able to say "Hail Hitler!" and "Americana Schwine!".

BallisticWookie 07-12-2001 08:20 AM

Hehe, I believe it Krauts http://www.pcgamers.net/ubb/smile.gif And no, I couldnt be bothered typing insults, hehe.
My Grandpa on my Mothers side was an MP in the Army and my Other Grandpa on my Fathers side was in the Army aswell, he fought in New Guinea and got a few Medals, but my dad never talks about him, so I dont know the full story. I think he may have died a few years after the War or something, I have no idea.

My grandma was in WW2. She was born in Yugoslavia ( Serbia) and she fought as partisan from 1941 to 1945. She even got 3 medals for bravery and she met Tito ( who was later to become the leader of Yugoslavia). It is her 'fault' that I like WW2 and everything about it, she spent hours talking about it when I was little and I loved it. I can still remember her story when Germans catched her and few other partisans in 1944. Germans wanted to execute them but they ( my grandma and others) started foaming at mouths, so germans thought they had dissease that was common during WW2 and which resulted in slow and painfull death. So they left them in forest to die, and of course my grandma and her unit thanked God for fooling Germans in this way.
P.S. I like your 'role playing' style SniperBob, I'll be typing insults all the time!

That was a good story Partisan. Unfortunately none of my family members that I know of fought in WW2.

Recycled Spooge 07-13-2001 10:07 AM

A lot of people had their family memebers fight in the war in this forum.
