Breakthrough Weapon Modding 4 Spearhead. Some Help Needed!!!
 

I am part of a 6 man Admin Team for a very popular MOH:SH community. As it seems we may or may not have a Breakthrough dedicated server, because of the uncertainty of our decision I like to prepare our Spearhead server for some new mods.

I like to import some elements of Breakthrough into Spearhead, such as ALL the new weapons that Breakthrough has to offer.

I started modding a PK3 which includes just the Enfeild sniper rifle and have yet to get this mod up & running….I need some help figuring out how to get this mod working with all the New Breakthrough weapons.

You cannot directly port the weapons like that. Each weapon has a new version number. Different than what the SH weapons have. So they won't work because of that.

Is there any other way of having the weapons added?

How about Breaktrough or Spearhead weapons in Mohaa, ive only wanted a non scoped G43 for Mohaa.

OK I found this New Weapon mod, Well its not new to MOH...It replace's the Thompson for whats called a Suomi SMG (Tommy Like Gun).....I checked the files with it's PK3 hoping for some insperation but nothing comes to mind....perhaps some of you guys can look at both mods that are linked below for some sorta ideas in my AID in help....

Well im not sure but maybe you can try to replace one of the SH guns with one from breakthrough instead of adding one. Maybe if you chose to replace the springfield sniper with the lee enfield sniper try getting all the files required for the lee enfield renaming them to the springfield files and trick the game into replacing the gun?? Dunno just a thought so no one take it too serious and call me a retard oOo:

Ok i got your pk3 file renamed the tik file in it to sprinfield and it kinda worked. The sound isnt right,it loads like a m1 garand, you have to scroll through your weapons to bring it up instead of it equipping you from the start when u spawn, and the weapon select screen for the british is the one from breakthrough. All i can tell u is to experiment with the files i think it is possible to do, hope this helps u on your experiment
