Battlefield 1942 or Delta Force: Blackhawk Down?
 

Well, heres the deal. Im mostly now, into mohaa and df2, but ive got some extra cash and im thinking of what to get. I have all the delta force versions so far (cept for TFD) and they are great, but i also have MOHAA (SH also), which i like a lot too. Anyway, im looking for opinions on which game i should buy. I could spend more, but i really dont want to. So, if anybody here might have played BF:1942 or BHD, then maybe i could get some opinions? Im guessing BHD (Blackhawk Down) is going to be the winner, but i would still like some feedback. So, what do you all suggest? Go ahead! Post away....

battlefield is more interactive. 40 People on one map, flying airplanes, charging with tanks, and if you have Desert combat mod...Apaches. That is good times

yeah ... i play bf on and off still quite a bit ... df would get boring for me after a while.

I'm an old school DF player. That is the game I played before moving over to MOH.


The new version of DF is rumored to be more "mod friendly". With that said, you will get a bigger band for your buck with BF. right now you have a lot of mods that you can download for free. That in itself is worth it over DF.

I would save my money for COD or HL2.

bf1942 by far. BHD is good but not that good.

HL2 and Halo both due out in 13 days and counting......

I didnt care for bf1942 or BHD, but of the 2 I would choose bf1942.

Pest HL2 relesed in 13 days? I thought it was to be released in Nov?????

The latest and greatest 9800pro xt is scheduled for release sept 30 as well and is to be bundled with HL2, but they wont be available for a couple of weeks after that date.

As far as I know, the only people that are saying later than sept 30 is EB games, but who really know? Seeing will be beliving.

Halo on the other hand has gone gold already, but the beta isnt as good as I had hoped. Not bad, but not quite up to expectations.[/url]

BF is laggy as shit, but the planes are awesome.

Galaxies fucking blows, it's laggy as shit no matter what computer you have.

I dont care if you have a super computer, when you go into a city it beats you to shit.
