Another questions my new motherboard is going to be 12" x 9.6" (30.5cm x 24.5cm) and i am wondering how big of a tower(case) should i get?

I am going to have some big cards in there like an audigy 2 and a geforce 4...

[2ndS.S.]Enigma 09-21-2003 11:55 AM

Also should i get Windows XP home or Pro

[DAS REICH] Blitz 09-21-2003 11:58 AM

Pro

[2ndS.S.]Enigma 09-21-2003 12:01 PM

Jotun 09-21-2003 12:23 PM

you have the same in-game name as me..... ::sobs::

fuck xp pro, people say its better, but there isnt much of a difference in my opinion. it is a tad safer, security wise, but my xp home is working just as good as my friends with pro, maybe even better.

regular size ATX case should fit. (Make sure you have a powersupply rated for the type of processor).

[2ndS.S.]Enigma 09-21-2003 01:05 PM

yea i was wondering about the power supply... Do you know where i could find that out? I was just planning to go down to comp USA... And is there any kind of tower i should get? I mean like aluminem or metal case? I have some crappy dell case now... Also i want something not over $20 and something that will be easy to put my parts in

big tip. stay away from stores. espcially on a budget. I am guessing you live in the states so you have the worlds greatest resource at your dispossal

http://www.newegg.com

-What type of processor do you have ?/Will you have

(ALSO WinXP sucks, Use Windows 2000pro)
