Making Coats Shiny

I had absolutely no response when i put this question up on the Modtheater.com forums, but hopefully i'll have more luck here. I edited the Tank Commander coat, and my new skin no longer has that shiny effect. I know it has something to do with the Alpha layer, but what exactly, i'm not sure. Can anyone help me give it that shiny appearance again? thanks.

i think its more have to do with scope.shader

how it reacts to light.....

hmn, well, thanks for the info, Newt, but i still don't know how to use it :P. could someone give me, like exact instructions?
I appreciate the help, Newt, but, unfortunately, i was born a dumbass that requires specific instructions :P

yea..... in the shader like u would do a normal coat...... use the code for the lens shader on the springfield..... just replace name of file and path.....

or use bevel and emboss on the coat in ps sniping:

i don't think that could work

If you check the shader, it already has shiny properties set to his coat. Did you edit the shader? If so, then that is your problem.

hey, thanks for the help, fellas. This is precisely why i prefer these forums to the Modtheater ones beer:
