I know im prolly a bit behind the times here..but.
 

i just bought the combo allied assault pack for the pc. and am playing the first mission in allied assault..is there any way to get your squad alive or does the game autmatically kill them all..it seems to.. M16:

i was never able to keep them alive ... not sure if you can or not but i dont think so eek:

Nope, absolutely no way...You can save a sniper's life on the next part of a mission, all you have to do to keep him alive is just shoot the top gunners on the base that he's being held in, if you don't, his slow ass will get shot.

thanks i finished the first mission was just curious on the first part of it..ya hes dead meat on hard level..had to restart quite a bit..

Ive actually managed to keep one guy alive at the ambush before. Probably just a script error or something. Once you go through the gates, and the next part of the map reloaded he went AWOL.

It is possible to keep them all alive, its just that you have to kill the machine gunners before you go into the base or on lyour way out. its alot harder if you wait until after youre in the base. dont rely on the sniper you save, because he is just too slow. if you are lucky enough to save them and go throught the gate, they may die in the blast when you take out the objectives. if you finally make it through, they just go AWOL. if you save some, you get a medal for this.
