Appearantly its simply HL code renamed. Although Planet HL is convinced it is not.

It could be the code for a programmable toaster, for all I know.

In any case, I'm not getting my panties in a bunch about this. It won't affect my life any.

If it is, I wonder how this will effect the final game release, if at all?

According to the Oct. edition of PC gamer, there was supposed to be a pre-release mod-tutorial course. A quote from the article..........

I cant see how this would push the game back though. It IS going to get warezed, and alot of people here are gonna warez it before they buy it. Fact of life. And valve should know this. However, is this thing able to mimic TOTALLY the keygen needed to produce VALID ONLINE CDKEYS not just installation keys? This is the thing I'm concerned about. Or not really concerned - cause more power to ya if u can get me this thing for free.

So far they are saying the key gen code is in there.
