Breakthrough mortar, tanks

Can anyone give advice on aiming the mortars at the tanks? I cannot, for the life of me, get past this point. Thanks.

Well it basically just takes practice to figure out the range. Make sure you watch the crosshairs to get a feel for how far the shell carries when the crosshair is in a certain position. The tanks come from the left first then the right and back again, etc. It shouldn;t take you long to get the pattern down pat. As soon as you see a tank fire a round at it and the adjust your elevation. (it didn't hurt that I still had a couple of rocket rounds left for when a tank got too close!) It seems like I remember that the tanks come into vies before they are in range. I used my first round as a marker and then let the tank move into that spot before firing again. Then just fire as fast as possible while slightly incresing the elevation.

What he said.

It takes some practice and remeber the higher you point the motar the closer the round will fall to you.

Motar Fire

Trajectory!!!! Lower mortar = farther distance.

Fire a round at 1st tank on left. See where it hits. Try this just before it comes over hill. Let the tank come to that spot and fire two quick rounds. Then concentrate on the tank on right. When both are dead, run to right window by Brit Soldier and do the same for tanks there. Then run back to left side window and do it again and then be prepared to run back to right side and finish off last tanks. SAVE THE GAME so you can return easily.

PS: Make a hit ? RAISE Mortar JUST A BIT and Fire Again !!!
