This is the only thread to discuss ED please. This way we can keep them all in one place.


Just to set the record straight,
Unfortunately Ed has been banned, because of his conduct towards other members, yes including Joe but not limited to Joe and his actions in these forums.

First I would like to say that, it took a lot for me to have him removed. I never wanted to get him banned but he asked for it, literally. He continued to go on and on after being asked to calm down, via PMs.

Another very good friend of mine as well as good friend to all of you ( sorry unless he speaks up I will not be posting his name and no he is not part of AAN) , wishes not to help AA.com anymore because of his real life but mostly because of what ED does in these forums. That and only that is what broke my back and has been building up towards ED since them.

I wish to apologies to all the other members who had to put up with his rhetoric. I let me friendship get in the way and I am truly sorry.

ED, Sorry but when push comes to shove I had to do what I did. I hope you understand. I still consider you a friend, even after your comments in IRC. wink: I understand you a little better then everyone else here or I believe I do. If you ever need anything you know where to reach me.

Can't say as though I didn't see this coming. ED is a very smart guy and he's made me laugh here many times, but his constant negativity got too much. He'd get a hold of a flame/grudge and would not let go.

It's unfortunate that he had to be escorted from the building, but I understand and support your decision, rude.

Well, for Rude's last post in the other thread with all the thread-quotes, I was being retoric to people's post on purpose for about maybe 10 threads, just to show what it's like to just be ganked with insults out of nowhere. Ed preached for months that I shouldn't be mod anymore, and then new mods were picked. I was one, but because of my choice of words and the way I put up with certian peoples additudes, I wasn't chosen. No big deal. So therefore, Ed got his wish.

Now, Ed still can't give up on that, and every post I seem to make had to be mocked by him or someone else on these forums. I think people have to get over things, and just move on. Judas and I had a little ban-battle in the past, and we honestly resolved it in PM's, and as you can see we pretty much go our own way now. It's not that hard just to suck it up and move on, but unfortuneatly some people can't understand that. I wish they could.

Anyways, that's that. I'm sure people will blame me for Ed getting banned, even though I'm not an admin, and he asked to be banned, somehow you will blame me, that's just how it goes. Enjoy. sleeping:

I thank you and Judas for that. That shows a lot of maturity from both of you.

Like I mentioned above, Joe had nothing to do with the "ED incident of Oct 2003"

Rude you did what needed be done. ED new what he was doing. Even though I did enjoy most of his threads. I did seem to me that lately he had stepped over the mythical line in the sand, and didn't want to step back. It is sad that people will blame you or Joe or anyone else they can for ED being banned, He got what he wanted. I can only hope that the Offtopic forum can back to what it once was, not some people's personal anger realease therapy forum.

And for you people who are up in arms seeking revenge, like WEBB said

He should have stayed banned the 1st time he got it. imo he will be back as ED jr or something I am sure we havent seen the last of him.
