What should I wear to prom?
 

I know prom is in April, and this will be my first, te hee, but I was wondering, what should I wear? I thought about maybe a Kilt, old english outfit, or even a really cool pimp outfit. Help me out on what to choose, as I will probably be going alone, as no girl is that desperate. I need some links so I will be the coolest dork ever!

Kilt, rag shirt tie dark boots.... its what I wore to last dance i went to.

why go if you're going alone? i never really liked the idea of prom anyways, it even sounds gay. but if you really want to go why not wear a nice black suit and tie?

You can't go wrong with a basic black dress, simple, elegant, not too low cut tho
...something that says to the boys:
"sure, I'm sexy, but that doesn't mean I go off like a shit-house door in a gale wind.*"

yea, prom is sorta dumb, but what else is ther to do? By then I will have beaten Call of Duty, and oh yea I could be playing Half-Life2!:) I would not go alone, but dating in high school feels so stupid, you know what I mean? I do not mean to offend anybody, but whats the point? I do have to admit we got a new girl this year in my class, and man I was hopeing I would get lucky, but then I learned she was already bloody taken, oh well means one less problem for me.

Why does everyone have to be an individua these days and stand out from everyone else? Conform I say!

I wear a kilt because i'm part of a Highland Reserve Regiment. We have strong traditions and ties to the British Army. But if you go with a kilt, you have to go regimental. It's the law with kilts. I've heard of instances within my unit where people have had their underwear ripped off. Now how people got to know that they were wearing underwear...well i'll leave that up to you. I don't know and I don't want to know.

Some people (Like me), look goofy in bow ties......

You don't have to wear a bow tie. I don't think I did. I went into a tux shop and thy have about a million different combinations you can do. I wore some sort of vest and half tie thing that tucked into the vest. Maybe i'm making that up, but I don't think so. oOo:
