gayest server ever
 

I just found the gayest Breakthrough server ever.

I didn't note the name but it has what must be one of the dumbest mods in MOHAAs existence (except maybe the Gatling guns and force-speed ones).

All the weapons are based on only one weapon from the class, that is the rifles are all based on the Enfield, all have 10 rounds and same damage.
All snipers have been turned into 5-round bolt rifles.
All SMGs are now the thompson (even though they still look like Sten, PPSH, Moshetto, etc)
All MGs are STG.

Essentially it takes away from the balance of the different guns having different characteristics and makes it more like Quake with WWII skins

I was once in a "stealth" server where u werent allowed to run. Of cpurse i got up and started killing everyone with an smg. they got pissed off and kicked me... o well. i dont care.

what breakthroguh like? post some pics for me.

They pay for the server so i say let them do what they want. I guess if you wanted to 1 v 1 some one with rifles and you want each player to have the same handicap, this would be a good mod for that.

Yeah, i've played that server too. They have a mod on it now so that you cannot run at all. You hit left shift to walk faster. I hate that clan on that server, they're a bunch of douche bags.

You crazies... the mods where you can't run are on the ol "Tactical servers" where people who want to act like the game is all realistic and they're on a swat team or something play. Most of the time they all use rifles or sniper rifles and camp a lot and use a lot of team work. So they do kick people who come in and just walk around with machine guns - the call it "run-and-gun. Its definately too boring for me, but I'll respect they're mods.

haha... i've only been playin mohaa online for about a week, and i've only been in about 10 servers and i stumbled across that one.. funny shtuff..

Those "tactical" servers are a crock of shit. They constantly spam messages saying "If you run, you will be kicked/banned." I always wonder, WHY DON'T THEY JUST SET THE RUNSPEED TO 0. Retards.

They dont set the runspeed to zero because you are allowed to run when fired upon or when there is a nade tossed at you, Powell. Common sense says that if you cant follow the rules you get booted, and some people want to play that way. I personally enjoyed it alot when I played the game on a regular basis. Specially with a RB game type, you dont want to die so you are extra careful and always check your surroundings. The server that I enjoyed the most didnt have much problem with people camping either, surprisingly. They just had one stupid loudmouth motherfucker that pissed me off so I quit playing there!

I have never played an AA tactical server, just on SH.

Tactical servers are a joke in MOH. Whether you run or not, there is nothing in this world that could make MOH a tactical game. lol

Its quite simple you dont like the mod or rules a server is running go to another one, there are plenty of servers out there.

the clan that runs the server must obviously like the mod.

I personally think its quite a good idea.
