Hill 488

Every heard of Hill 488 in 'Nam? I just finished the book Hill 488 and its friggin nuts. A marine recon platoon was sent there to observe VC activity...etc. The last night a Battalion of NVA attacked. The recon patrol consisted of 16 marines and 2 navy corpsmen. Whats awesome about it is that these 18 guys held off a battalion of hardcore NVA troops and almost wiped them out (with the help of Tac Air). They were the most decorated small unit in history too, winning 1 medal of honor, 4 navy crosses, and 13 silver stars along with 18 purple hearts. I just finished it today (I was sick from school so i read). Anyone who wants to read about def. should.
