Alliedassault - Sigs and photoshop

ok.. i have had photoshop 7.0 for the long time now and all i pretty much do is use it to size images and make banners and what not..
nothing to detailed..

i've tried to sit down a fool around with it everyonce in a while but i end up making a mess.

i come on here and see crazy ass sigs by, the man, zoner and i wonder "how in the hell did he make that!?"

I don't want any of those half assed tutorials i've looked at..

so this is a pled to the dope sig designers on alliedassault.com to lead me in the right path, so i too can create something just as good.
