How do they do that ?
I was playing real early in morning saturday... I guess they were Euro players... anyway they were shooting through sides of the door frames.. I couldnt see them but boom I was dead.. its frustrating cause I cant see them when shooting...how do they do that?... thanx
example: Algiers.... |
They were probably clipping the door frame a bit. That is to say, they can see you thru the object due to their player model poking thru the object, but you can't see them.
It's a glitch in the game. |
yea if you are standing right next to a door, or running into it your body parts go through it
several times i can recount that idiots run to the door first and dont open it and i shoot their head that comes through the door or their arm of course the b00ns always accuse me of h4xin, but i think getting accusing of cheating is the highest compliment anyone can give good fun too biggrin: |
Yes this is the infamous culling bug most people use so they can get some kind of cheap advantage. Basically when you;re playing mohaa player models are not drawn when theyre behind walls and so on. When models are approaching the edge of a wall so you can see them they get drawn in.
Thers a lot of places on maps (especially stalingrad) where the culling system seems to draw the models too late and players will appear to just pop into view. Its even more obvious when sometimes you lean round a corner and get killed even though there was noone visible. Usually these guys know the spots and will exploit them to their fullest. Lame yes but not much that can be done about it. |
thanx guys i thought it was lack of my skill (still dont have it though) eatthis:

Heh....I dont camp for those opportunities, but I will take full advatage if the situation presents its self.

yah this all goes back to bsm, who perfected corner clipping. he's one of the best at it. you really cannot see him when u round a corner, not at all. hes damn good at it
