In other Max Payne news, thanks to HQ H who spotted this post on the official 3DR boards regarding the install sizes of the game by Remedy. Here's the poop on that:
This is quite accurate information, give or take a few megs:

Full install: 830 MB
Minimum install: 530 MB
Minimum install will load the levels from the game cd. Full installation is recommended for optimal performance.

The MAX-FX tools
MaxEd Level Editor
ParticleFX Editor
ActorFX Skinning Editor
RasMaker Archive Manager
Example .mpm file (Max Payne Mod)

Brief documentation for the tools and game database take about 25 MB after installation. All editors come with example files that you can load up immediately after installing the MAX-FX Tools, but a full installation of Max Payne is required for the tools to integrate to the game database properly.

I know some of this gaming slang like: owns and what not, but WTF is 1337? everyone says it over there at DOD and i can't figure it out. Little help?

I think it means "Elite", but I'm not sure...

I'm unsure on BTW. What does that mean? Oh and what's the plot of Max Payne. What kind of game is it?

The black and white picture I always see when they show Max Payne reminds me of the guy on Jackass on MTV.

BTW means By The Way, but does anyone know for sure what 1337 means. For some reason it just doesn't look anything like elite to me.

The story behind Max Payne is that your a cop working undercover, and a new drug called Valkyre is screwing everybody up real bad. One night some addicts break into your home and kill your wife and daughter, I think it's a daughter. 3 Years later after working in the DEA the mob (??) take out your best friend and the only one who knows about your being undercover. After that Max Payne goes skitz and decides to take on the Mob and drug dealers himself...something along those lines anyway...I cant wait for it !!

Is there an aim point, or auto aim. If it is auto aim then i aint buying it.
