Gridlines
How do you add grid/scan lines?
You can define a brush in Photoshop or get a plugin like Xenofex.
link?
Don't know it off-hand. The only link I can suggest is Google, unfortunately... biggrin:
there overused anyways
I dled the demo of xenofex. Now what do I do?
put it into the photoshop folder C:>program files>adobe>photoshop>plugins
viola |
Easiest way is to just define a pattern
1make a new photoshop file make it 1x2 or 2x1 "PIXELS"!!! doesnt matter just depnds if you want the lines to go horizontal or vertical. 2next zoom in as much as you can 3 colour in one of the pixels the color you want the scan line to be most likely black. 4 click edit > Define pattern > save as scan line 1 or whatever. 5 now to use this pattern click the layer on the image you want to have the scanlines then click edit > fill > choose your scanline pattern that you saved. ^ easiest way to make scan lines. Just dont whore them onto sigs it tends to piss of a lot of people round here. |
He asked for the boxs.
well that's all he needs to know.
Just make it like 4x4 and fill in the bottom 2 and right 2... whatever biggrin: you can make then whatever size you want. |
What about xenofex though?
xenofex isn't free, but there is a demo.

Yea...i dled it, is there something in it where they have gridlines set up already? Or like on your sig, above and below your name, the lines?
The television filter in that plugin will make scanlines, but I didn't use that in my sig.
To tell you the truth, I can't remember WHAT I did...heh heh. |
