COD Single Player cheat codes ??
 

Has anyone found out how to use cheat codes for the SP ? Keep in mind
that the demo codes do NOT work with the full game. I'd appreciate help
if you know how to activate the "pleasure enhancers"...

actually id like to know some SP cheats also like how to come up with a maplist. im not a big fan of SP and all im really looking forward to is the last level which ive heard is like enemy at the gates.

well...i know how to record a demo.

in console type /record and it starts recording a demo witha defualt name (Like ScreenShots 0001.tga) To make sure that you have a demo running, you will see new type appear on your screen, middle left, saying how big the file is.

to stop it type /stoprecord or /recordstop one of the 2 and it stops it.

To go back and view it, go back into CoD and in console type /demo "name"
(when you do this do not add " ".)

I have yet to find out how to fast forward and rewind demos. In addition i would like it if someone could tell me how to convert it to a mpeg. or windows media file.

You should have a shortcut to the game with a target that looks like this:
"C:\Games\Call of Duty\CoDSP.exe"

You need to change the ending so that it looks like this:
"C:\Games\Call of Duty\CoDSP.exe" +set thereisacow 1337 +set developer 1 +set sv_cheats 1 +set monkeytoy 0

Warning, this involves modifying a game file, so make a backup.

These codes DO NOT work in muliplayer, so don't bother trying. The server has to have the codes enabled before you can even think of cheating (using this method) in a multiplayer game.

Step 1: Open your favorite hex editor (I prefer http://www.chmaas.handshake.de/delp...xvi32/xvi32.htm )

Step 2: Open the CoDSP.exe file, found in the Call of Duty directory.

Step 3: Search for the TEXT string "sv_cheats" (without quotes).

Step 4: After the last "s" in "sv_cheats" you should see three square symbols. Click on the first one, then click on edit>overide string. Make sure HEX is selected, then type "25" (without quotes) into the box. Now save the file, and follow the demo cheat instructions.

And there you have it. Credit goes to a guy on the callofduty.org boards. He posted the instructions, apparently, and deleted it before I could see it. Luckily someone mentioned Hex Editor later on in the thread, and I figured it out from there.
