I can't patch MOH or Spearhead....
 

I have bought the full retail "Medal of Honor Deluxe Edition" which included the Spearhead add on. I have downloaded the latest UK and US patch for MOH and tried to use the patch supplied with Spearhead. Both patches state that they cannot find the UK or US game on my PC. It is there, i can assure you, i have installed the game with all default settings. This is killing me.

Why can't i patch the game i just unwrapped and installed.

Please help.

i do believe you have to paste the patch files in you MOHAA/main folders, then run it. Don't know much about SP, but i'm sure its similar.

Still won't patch.....still angry........still going to get drunk and play the bugger.

so you put it in the "mohaa/main" folder and not just the mohaa foler? hmmm.... you lose

I have ran the patches in both directories and they still don't work.

The Spearhead "There is a download available" does'nt work either. How very frustrating.

Had MOHAA and bought Breakthrough

Loaded Breakthrough and it wanted to put the 1.11 patch in for MOHAA and itself. Screwed both up.

I run the patches from my download folder. The patch finds the path to MOHAA by itself.

Anyway, had to uninstall MOHAA and Breakthrough. Loaded MOHAA and then loaded Breakthrough. Breakthrough provided the 1.11 patch to both games.

I don't know. Maybe the deluxe version comes already patched. I would hope so after this long with the patch being out and official. I do know that when I loaded Breakthrough, it came up with 'Going to install patch 1.11 at this time' but I already had it in my MOHAA.

Maybe it could have been the No-CD patched version. Although I have the original I like the patch for no-cd so I can keep my original cds on the shelf.

That could have triggered it.
