Just got Star Wars : Knights of the Old Republic
Yeah, it's pretty cool. It's a system hog and it looks like my old clunker isn't going to pull it off this time. The storyline is cool and I'm glad I got it. I haven't got that far yet but things are going good. You can choose a path to a light or dark jedi.
Anyone else got it? |
get 'The Thing' for comp.
|
I have it for xbox and just beat it, theres a huge twist near end that is cool. Its a great game!

I own it for Xbox...I'm foing dark side first (almost done) and then light side...two different endings.

Hell yeah, got that for the PS2 and it rocks. Burn those aliens. flamethrower: |
Yea...I made a light side jedi guardian, and hes really powerful/ With master flurry he can take dark jedi out in one hit. I just beat it and I am making a dark side guy, being so fucking ruthless and mean to everyone is appealing biggrin:

I hate KOTOR! Ever since I started playing, my sleep time has drastically
dimished to a point where I simply don't sleep at all! "Just one more quest" "Just three more Pazaak games" "I'll explore the rest of this area first" etc. I'm definitely loving being a Jedi (I can't bring myself to be an ass just yet) But really, I love it. My only beef is that even with crystal powerups, your sabre is still too weak (as if you'd need so many strikes to kill someone). A minor nitpick, really. The game runs very well on my system (1.2G, 640 SD RAM, GF4 Ti4600). Do you want to laugh ? I made a REAL fucking PAZAAK DECK. Yes. I actually designed, printed and laminated game cards. |

How did your guy get so powerful ? Mine (even with sabre upgrades and other "enhancers") takes like 3-4 rounds to kill regular enemies! What's your character's EXP ? Crystals ? Items on him ? Force and stuff you chose etc... |

When your still on taris, don't level up once for your main character. Keep him in the rear with a blaster and fight with someone else ( I used the wookie). When you get off of taris he will have the experience to be lvl 5 - 7 but will only be lvl 2. After you get to be a jedi then you can start leveling up, gaining force points and force powers where you wouldnt have before. Thus, instead of being a lvl 6 scout and a lvl 14 jedi at the end, you will be a lvl 2 scout and a lvl 18 jedi. Makes quite the difference.

Meh.
I'll just finish this game normally and start a new one with codes ;-) RAVENous biggrin: |
Codes annoy:

Like the twist soli? I really dont know how I made my guy so powerful. I use two lightsabers, one with a stun crystal in it (forgot name) and a krayt dragon pearl, and the other one a forget. I use master flurry, I have my main focus as light saber, have 2 hand weapons on max, and I have maxed melee weapons (if that makes a difference). So I'd be hitting near the middle/end of the game with each lightsaber doing like 15-35 dmg, plus 25 extra dmg on both. One of the coolest power I think is forcewave. He raises his hand and knocks everyone down. It really comes in handy and I was wondering if I SWG is worth the $10 fee.
