look up/down and turn left/right with keyboard
 

I want to pla y MOHaa with my gamepad.
First I 'll have to bind some keys to some movements (look up/down , turm left/right).
I don't manage to get this done. Although I bind the keys to look up, look down, turn left and turn right, they don't work.

The only way to move in such a way (up/down etc.) is by using the mouse (for me).

Does anybody know why this is the case.

All the other actions are easy to bind to keys and are available on my gamepad.

Go to the options page and on controls make the second button for looking a unused key. Now you should be able to bind them.

I can bind the action to a key in the Options/control screen.
But the keys don't function in the game.

I assigned a second button to a action , but that didn't work as well.

When I do not send the 3 recommended commands (see below, from Faq page) for usig a gamepad in the console window everythings works fine but I can not use the gamepad at all of course.

3 commands:
seta in_joystick 1
seta cl_pitchspeed 0
seta cl_yawspeed 0

Sorry I only use the keyboard and mouse.
