Its really very easy...
Get a wireless router from your local computer store (70bucksish) and A wireless card that fits in your laptop slot (100bucksish) internet > cable > router > laptop [url:74790]http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage.jsp?id=1067390048610&skuId=5965002&type=pr oduct[/url:74790] [url:74790]http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage.jsp?id=cat01032&navHistory=cat00000%2Bcat0 1000%2Bcat01024&type=category&navLevel=4[/url:74790] |

nice, comcast = the ownage.
uhh as for stuff to get...i go to places like circuit city because i dont know anywhere else. look for products like linksys. you need an "access point" and special cards in your laptop. |
It really is that easy, buy a router and a wireless card by the same company, hook your modem into your router, snap in the wireless card and it will probably work. the software is preinstalled with windows so there is virtually nothing to install.... cable >modem>router>laptop, thats really all there is

WAIT!!!! if you just bought your laptop, make sure it dosnt already have built in wireless lan.... If it does, you have no need to buy the LAN Card, because your antenna will be behind your display screen.

Just buy a modem, a few extra cables and BOOM!
