dirty CD

anyone know a good way to clean a CD? It was left out on my desk in the summer & I left. I came home to find it had rained & gotten the cd all wet so their are water spots all over the cd (like you see after washing your car & not drying it). anyone know a good way to clean it because it refuses to read it now.

Lick it and rub it on your pants.

Its not rocket science, clean it without scratching it.

I think this is for scratches, but I agree. For like drink stains, I'd try a damp dish towel.

ya i heard that was for scratches too but it'd probably work

pest 01-02-2004 01:14 PM

Maybe non-abrasive car wax, but that sounds pretty similar to the scratched thing too.

Sergeant_Scrotum 01-02-2004 03:37 PM

I tried pretty much every one of these & come to the conclusion that the best is the one i thought of myself. if you ever have shit on a cd use pure paint thinner & that shit will come right off. still dosent seem to wanna work though even though its cleaner than any of my other CDs, it gives me a "catostrophic error" message

Sergeant_Scrotum 01-02-2004 04:06 PM

fuck now i have to go & download a new cd2 image. mad: . where are the best places to download this stuff now?

must really suck having your desk outside oOo:

secondly i dont buy that story for a second. i think your lookin for a way to get call of duty workin without reachin in your pocket for the cash. so youll download it someplace then be cryin about your cd code not working. just head to the store and buy the game and move on. or at least think of a better story. it was burned in a house fire, the dog chewed it up,the cat scratched it, your dad hung it from his rear view mirror and it got warped from the sun, your cd rom stopped and you tore it up getting it out, a moose hunter took it out with his rifle from a mile away. any one of these are more believeable then it got rained on. stupid:
