Does anyone know if velocity will be modeled for the weapons? I sure hope there is because i could not see someone with an mp40 hitting you as soon as the trigger was pulled if you were, say, 300 yards away(i.e. distance from waters edge to the bunkers above the wall)Please tell me that will be modeled! http://www.pcgamers.net/ubb/smile.gif

What I am talking about is how in games like DoD and Rogue Spear, the shot automaticaly hitsthe target as soon as mouse is clicked(no matter how far the distance)

Weapon Ballistics are not being implemented because it would take a large chunk of CPU power to make it happen, or so 2015 says. At distances from 200 meters to 500 meters, (and let me tell you that it's not that easy to hit pop up targets that far away with only a low powered scope) there was no delay in the bullet hitting the target. wether it be a SMG or Assault Rifle there is no noticable delay in the bullet hitting the target. I doubt at any rate that an SMG could hit anything with any real accuracy out to 300 Yards, thats a long way for a weapon thats pretty much designed for Close Quater Battle. Yes the bullet will reach 300 yards but it will not hit it's target and it's lethality would have been greatly reduced. The reason the shots hit the target automatically in games such as DoD and RS, is because bullets do (ofcourse theres times when they dont)hit the target "automatically", You'll only see a decrease in bullet speed and trajectory over LONG distances, getting out to over 700 meters, whatever that is in feet or when the weapon is not designed for long range encounters. My knowledge of WW2 era weaponry is not ofcourse that to the standard of Waffen or Burgen, I'm more into the Modern day Infantry weapons http://www.pcgamers.net/ubb/smile.gif
