Didn't that movie suck though?

Zoner 01-09-2004 03:04 PM

Of course it didn't suck! It was friggin' GREAT!

If you don't like the genre, you probably won't like it. I had the friggin' BEST time watching it in a packed theatre.

It made $85mil, so it couldn't have sucked THAT much.

Ferich 01-09-2004 03:04 PM

Holy fuck this looks horrible. The original's trailer looked about 100 times better.

You can't beat a cult movie with Ving Rhames and a bunch of other no named actors.

And Freddy Vs Jason only has Theater meaning to me. It's a 17 dollar piece of crap on DVD.

I liked Jason X in theater, but once I bought it....I shot myself.

Zoner 01-09-2004 03:06 PM

I kinda agree, but I'll still see it. I loved the original and I probably won't expect this one to top it. I'm just going to see some brain-nibblin' mayhem! biggrin:

Ferich 01-09-2004 03:07 PM

It doesn't matter what movie it is....Zombies kick ass. happy:

Zoner 01-09-2004 03:09 PM

I love the Jason X DVD. If nothing else, it LOOKS great, as it was shot digitally. The colours are vibrant and the sound is great.

The movie itself, well, it's an acquired taste...heh. It would been much better without the cheesy one-liners that Sean Cunningham insisted on being inserted into Todd Farmer's otherwise good script.

meh... another zombie movie... like that one in 1939 with the nazi scientist.

Oh yeah, whats up with your sig Zoner,(andrew sings) and what is LLC?

1. The story behind the sig: http://www.alliedassault.com/phpBB2/vie ... p?t=172619

2. =[LLC]= is the "clan" (for lack of a better term) I play SH/CoD with. We're not terribly competitive or anything...we just hang around allaboutnothing.net and goof off work.

Do I remember a thread where Zoner told us that he was being payed by a film company to promote Jason vs Freddy?

Zoner 01-09-2004 03:22 PM

I still haven't seen any $$$, the fucking New Line Cinema rat bastards.

Zoner 01-09-2004 03:27 PM

Yeah, that's what I'm looking forward to the most in the extras. The behind the scenes shit will rawk too. rock:

I havent seen many scary movies because my parents wouldnt let me. The ones i did see were pretty scary when I saw them but I dont know how I would react today. Scarecrow, It, Night of the living dead, rawhead rex. etc. I think the old ones were the best ones. My favorite: Halloween.
