Anybody out there got a radio check?
 

Anybody else ever talk on the CB radios? Ever once in awhile my friends and I go out and mess with people on it. It is so sad, but we have nothing better to do. I will admit though, you meet some crazy people on that thing. Anybody else ever done this? I wonder if we could ever get Rusty Nail after us?

CB radios are fucking awesome. On a car trip in florida i talk to this one guy about alligator sex. rock:

Traffic jams..
all 18 wheelers have cb's....so, you can find out when the traffic starts to clear...very very cool :D

on my computer speakers.....CRAPPY POS'S, i pick up CB conversations...only happened once, just the other day..i was using my headset like always with the speakers on..i start hearing

but i don't have one..but they are pretty handy to have though

there are only two people cool enough to use a CB ; Smokey and the Bandit

oh, and if your car ever breaks down, and you don't have a cell phone...you might get some help with a CB...

if iam correct, messages can be transfered from person to person

That was my set, icom 706 mark 2, cost like £1200 to buy. Used to be part of a dxing group talking to people abroad, furthest i got was into the ukraines and white russia talking to people and one guy in atlanta.

I prefer scanners. I found a list once of all the police frq over canada & a bunch of other ones. including the mcdonalds drive trough biggrin:

Yep, had one guy tell me he was gonna gut, some more make threats. It is like a chat room, people say all kinds of stuff, but who actually knows where you are?
