Are You Going to Vote?

Obviously, if you're not in the US or not of voting age, this question is null. And although is a futile effort to ask those of you who meet the above criteria NOT to vote, I'd appreciate it if you did your best to keep it to a minimum.

Anyway, I'm just curious to see how many people will be voting in this year's election. I missed being able to vote in the last presidential election by just a few months. I'm pretty psyched about being able to vote this year, and I fully intend to do so.

How about you guys?

Yes I will...I voted for the presidential elections, governors, and the like

but usually not the little roody poo local millages..

Yeah I'm going to vote. Nice thing about the United States, every 4 years we have a chance to make a regime change. I've been voting since 76' and intend to do it until I die.

I'm sure the Liberal Party of Canada wouldn't need my vote anyways.

Yes, and this will be my first chance to vote.

The best thing is that the winner is already in office. I will vote for George W.!!

certainly, somebody has to vote that knucklehead out of office and fucking repeal the un-patriot act!
As a chemistry major I have a legit reason to read books that teach you to make bombs and stuff , and I don't need the homeland-lack-of-security department spying on me!
(Nitro and TNT are basic organic synthesis, and they used to do those experiments in college until the liberal PC police and conservative paranoia force stopped them)

From what I see on TV, it looks that that Kerry fella has the best chance on beating Bush.

So, Notics (since you seem to know the most on these elections) does Kerry have a good chance at beating Bush?

Absolutly ,

Everone who can vote MUST!

This is the part of our system that lets YOUR voice be heard.

You have no right to bitch if you don't vote.

Everyone should take an active part in whats goning on around them.
Look at your town , your county , your state.

You are the voice that makes it the place it is.

You may not vote for mayor.....

You may not vote for County Commisiners....

But you MUST vote for State seats and naturally Congress and the Presidency.

It is up to YOU to decide what happens to your community and YOUR state and YOUR Country.

Yes , I vote often.....lol.

I'm a littl suprised that there are so many voters here. Now maybe I shouldn't be because politics is brought up quite often here, but what is the % of people who actually vote in the States? 38 or 40%? So that majority of people don't, and I really think that's too bad. I don't think voting is a right, its an obligation to your country no matter what level it's at. Even if it's for Alderman. But i'm glad to see so many voters here. Its the same here though. About 40% in Canada. I ask my friends if they voted and they'd casually say "no". I couldn't really grasp that they didn't care. Anyway, I won't tamper with your poll, but I vote in all elections that I am able to vote in.

Yes, but mostly because its the first time I'll be able to.

There are too many Ontarians in Canada to ever knock out the Liberals here. So don't see the point of the West caring really, it isn't even gonna sway it unless the Liberals destroy the country in everyway.

Probably not
