Help!!! DC crashes halfway through loading!!
 

Hey, I just bought Battlefield for the 3rd time (lost it the first 2 times) and I just installed DC 7.0, and now every time I try to load DC maps or any map for that matter, but it is only when the DC mod is activated, my game crashes about half way - two thirds. I would really appreciate any help with this. Thanks.

have you tried a reinstal of both bf1942 and dcl?

No, because I know that wont help anything. It is a fresh install of both

You need 1.6

himmler i am not making you out to be an idiot but can i confirm that you installed everything in the following order please.

1 bf1942
2 bf1942 1.6 patch
3 desert combat 0.7

im trying not to be too offtopic but i have the same problem with loading the Karelia map on forgotten hope. I used to be able to play this mod w/o any problems, but since i installed the new patch, it goes to desktop after loading half the map.

Wtf?lost bf TWICE!?!thats like at least 100 bucks down the drain for 3 copies

you using a refresh fix ?

if so , edit

D:\Program Files\EA GAMES\Battlefield Vietnam\Mods\BfVietnam\settings\videodefault.con

and put
renderer.allowAllRefreshRates 1


look in the dc folder under mods for the same thing.
