grenades in MOH breakthrough
 

hi - i did do a search but couldnt find this already answered.

i play BT with my colleagues at lunchtime but they always whine that there arent as many grenades as in MOHAA.

Is there some way to override the standard ? I tried setting infinite ammo on the "set up server" executeable but this only seems to work with a dedicated server - when running an embedded game it seems to ignore it. and i cant run dedicated anyway as we dont have a spare machine.

more grenades thats easy,open the grenade tiki file (with notepad)(open a grenade file like stickgrenade.tik or something like that)
scroll down and search for the ammo and change it in the number u want!

i tried that and it was close, but the right answer appears to be that since BT allocates different numbers of grenades based upon the main weapon, you need to modify the main weapons .tik file:

from kar98.tik

dm additionalstartammo "grenade" 4

dm startitem "items/binoculars.tik"

// Additional DM Realism Loadout
dmrealism additionalstartammo "grenade" 4

yes- i can set all the main weapons to give the same number of grenades and hopefully they'll stop whining.

think i'll leave the rocket launcher with just one though as its such a lamer's weapon!

bah when my roommate and I are able to get a server machine set up we want to do one map in the rotation rockets only, now to get them semi auto :P sometimes they can be fun.
