My DW entry, since *someone* had to ruin the thread...
:EDIT: Yes, i took that pic. Its a ladyfriends eye.. Duh.. oOo:
If you dont trust me, ill hook you up with the full photo of her.. eek: Well, here it is.. All standard issue Photoshop 7.0, no custom brushes, fonts or anything else: The grid i created: The sourcepic: The way to create the border: Start a new canvas up, with the same size as your sig, and make sure you got the default colorscheme selected (Ctrl+D). Next, go to Filters > Render > Clouds. After that, Filters > Artistic > Palette Knife, and run it with the default settings. Next, its Filters > Artistic > Poster Edges, that should also be run on default settings. Now go Filters > Distort > Glass, this one is also used on default settings. To get the correct looks, you have to go to Edit > Fade Glass, and change the Blending mode into Overlay. Save this as a .psd, and start another new one up. This time, only create a black border of about 5 or 6 pixels width. Almost done now. Go to Filters > Distort > Displace, and when asked, select the file you just saved. There we go, you have just created your new and unique, grunged up border. biggrin: The result should be something like this: |

Ok people ... here's a favor i have to ask of you. PM BadScript saying Buckweeed is a poor moderator. If you believes he's doing a good job then don't worry about this. Don't post anything about this in this thread, don't quote this or anything. Continue submitting your stuff, so far so good.
