Map Rotation Limit ?
Hi,
I'm a newbie here and to running a server and I am having problems runing more than 16 maps in a single rotation. Is this normal ? Cheers imwithstupid: |

I'm sorry .... why would the spec on my PC have any effect on map rotation ?!?
If it can roll 18 maps (which it can) ... why do you think that 19 would be a problem ? |
Your not adding custom maps or trying to run the some map twice, are you?

Hahaha ... I've already been stupid enough to make that mistake chaps ..... but not any more.
They are all dm maps (mostly picked up/downloaded from here) and run ok if swappd in and out as long as they are 18 or less (if you know what I mean). Has anyone tried more than 18 ? Or would someone be kind enough to please ? If 18 is the limit then cool, but at the moment I can see no obvious reason for it not to rotate. annoy: Perhaps I should stop being soo greedy and just settle with 18 eh ? Thanks thus far |
I have had 20 or more maps in rotation with no problems, but have seen a custom map mess it up. If you are running a dedicated server the error code will still be on the console. What does it say? Try changing the order of the maps to see if you can isolate the problem map.
