RCON,CONFIG,AUTO KICK?
 

HOW DO I GET A RCON PASSWORD FOR AUTOKICK IT SAYS TO DO SUMTIN TO UR SERVER CONFIG.....WHAT IS THAT AND HOW DO I FIX IT

well in your main folder theres a file name config.csv thets the file you need to edit. and the autokick manual has the code that you need to put in it to set the password. i think its something like seta rconpassword "pass here" not sure if thats right check the manual to make sure. then you type the pass word in and close and save. then in autokick type in the password that you put in the file.

all that i told you is out of memory so im not sure if its completely write. and also when opening the config file i think you need to open it with wordpad or notepad but check that in the manuall! i tried opening with note pad and all i see is numbers like the freaking matrix and it wont go back so check that too

You do this by specifying an rcon password in your server’s configuration file. If you don’t know what a server config file is, you should go to alliedassault.com (or any other MoHAA web site) and read their guides / help files to learn about config files. Once you have your config file set up, just put this in it:

seta rconPassword “yourpassword”

Include the quotation marks and replace yourpassword with whatever password you want. Save the config file, reboot the server and you should be good to go. The password you put in your config file is the same password you should put in the main screen of Autokick (but leave the quotation marks out in Autokick).


thats right out of the manual witch you should have already read and yeah but when i did it i lookd for the other text that started with seta andput it right under there but i dont think it matters

and hey what did you use to open the config file?

OK when i go into the game i type rcon into the consloe it just says rcon looping (OR SOMETHING) then when i type rcon password it says the right pass but it still doesnt seem to work !!!!!

ok this is for autokick right? well after putting the rconpassword you just need to put it into the field that were it asks you for the password in autokick. then while the server is running you click on start and it should work.
