Here's one... Man tries to steal cars from police parking lot

Perhaps the sign wasn't big enough.

Police officers in a Winnipeg training class earlier this week saw a man trying to break into cars in the police academy's parking lot.

"This makes police work very easy," said Winnipeg police spokeswoman Const. Shelly Glover.

"I'm unsure why it was he didn't read the big Winnipeg Police Service Academy sign that was up above the building, but it makes our job easier if the criminals can't read."

It's believed the man was trying to get into vehicles to steal loose change, Glover said. Cops made the arrest without incident.

"The two officers who made the arrest are taking a bit of ribbing simply because it's one of the easiest arrests they've ever had to make," Glover said.

Michael Joseph Cornejo, 27, of Alberta, has been charged with possession of goods obtained by crime under $5,000 and possession of break-in tools. He was detained in custody at the Winnipeg Remand Centre.

It's funny because they are stupid stupid:

what an idiot. goes along the lines of a rober not far from my house. A guy robbed a stop and shop pharmacy and took some perkaset(sp). He got away clean no incient except the person he took the drugs from at the counter knew him and told the cops where he lived.
