neither are good

yeah neither are too impressive. like it seems all your doing is either using CTRL+U or added a low opacity colored layer on top, than just putting some text with some Blending options (shadow and pattern).

try some stuff, hell used filters just get off of the basic stuff

horrible unrealistic boring color. damn seriously just leave teh color alone if your going to do that to it.

Sorry, I don't like either.

you should adjust color and levels, make it a little darker. make a new simple font, dont clutter to much with it. take away that poor filter work aswell. stroke 1 px. there, i think it could be a descent sig.
