Should I learn to play the piano?

I have just acquired £250 ($400 or so) & I am pondering whether or not I should buy a keyboard. I once had an ambition to play the guitar but that quickly faded. I only want to play a few particular tunes on the piano so I'm wondering if it's a worthwhile investment. I could spend the money on a car or on upgrading my computer but I would like to spend it on something that I can use & something that I can remember.

Piano is pretty classy dude, that sounds cool. Not many people take the time to learn that art anymore. If I were to spend money on lessons, I would take piano or violin lessons.

Or you could buy a radeon 9800xt rock:

Very relaxing instrument and garunteed to impress many people. But you wont get any keyboard thats good for 250 bucks. Maybe 350-400 will get you a full 88-key keyboard that responds to touch. Thats what you need to look out for. Its well worth the investment.

May I take the liberty of asking why a gay person has an incredably hot chix in his sig?

if you can play any instrument, that's fucking awesome.

I played the trumpet for a long time, but quit, like 5 years. I quit though, my friend wants me to play some ska in his band though.. haha.

Guitar, violen, piano, trumpet.. IT'S ALL GOOD! rock:

Hm. piano shows class. And women like class. I personally have wanted to learn Violin. Get myself a nice electric violin and play blue grass, classic rock, etc. Bad ass. nothing like hearing Sweet home alama on a violin.

I thought about playing the violin aswell, it is a mans instrument! Chix dig it if you can play their fiddle...

After some thought I realised that the violin prolly sounds like sh&t without any background stuff like the piano etc. But the piano dosen't need any other instruments to make it sound good. rock:

Is it hard to learn how to play the violin? I was thinking about taking a few lessons.

I took piano lessons for about four years and I kind of dis-liked it because when I was young I wasn't the type to practice piano an hour a night. But now that I've grown up I kind of regret it oOo: I'd say it's worth it.
