There's an Omaha Co-op mod for the retail version already?
Where? Gimme gimme gimme! =P |
I was wondering about this earlyier and now i want to ask. When you play OMAHA beach in MP how do you start off. Do you start off on a boat appraoching the beach or do you start off like RTCW, allready on the beach? and if you die do you have to wait for somebody to blow up the 88 or get killed like you did in the mp demo? because i imagine u get killed easily as an allie

Omaha in MP is a Objective type map. You start off in the landing crafts parked at the waters edge. You need to make it to the shingle blow the bangalors and proceed into the bunker and out the other side to blow the east and west gun. while the axis is defending. If you get killed you start over in the boats or on the beach. I believe it has to do with were the rest of your guys are and what they are holding. could be wrong on the last part and you could randomly be placed in the boats or on the beach.

Yes after you have blown the shingle then you are respawned either by the shingle or back near the boats. What is somewhat stupid is that the axis has no time to get to the mGs, by the time they reach it the allies have already blown the shingle and are in the bunkers so it is useless. Also allied snipers camp the bunkers so there is no way to use the MGs anyways. In otherwords MP OMaha sucks. The rest is fun though.

In the Omaha COOP MOD you start off in the boats heading toward the beach ... its cool
