Honestly Nirvana and Korn Kept me going for a long Time. Eminem* (Commence the barrage) grabbed me to a lot of rap. It also kind of tought what is good and what is crap. rock:

cliff burton, the bassist from the who, flea, matt freeman, mike drint

To tell the truth - My Uncle, who gave me all of his old tapes when I was like 5.....They were all Hiphop, De La Soul, Eric B & Rakim etc.

I went through a rock phase, instigated by Pearl Jam and Faith No More. But I don't listen to much other music outside of urban music genres these days.
