network problem:(
 

Ok I got my computer back working and I had to restart windows.... but now i cant do anything with networking.... i tried adding a connection and it doesnt work... and i have this wireless router mn-500 wireless base by microsoft and its working for my laptop but not the computer... i dont have the cd for the base though i lost it somewhere.. what do i do! please no smart ass coments ...thanks...


btw when i reinstalled and formatted my harddrive i had only the option of ntfs not fat32 or whatever it is... does that matter?

and is there a way i can get something to install my mn 500
and yes i tried adding the hardware but there is no hard ware just the piece of line from the router to my computer... and i have network plug on my mboard....

The file system has nothing to do with your computer's networking ability.
You don't need to add hardware for your router: just your network device,
TCP/IP and clients for MS Networks. Forget about QoS...

but dont i need the cd? i meen i know i lost it but isnt there something else i can use from the internet so i can burn on this laptop i`m using and put it on my computer....
