what are some good sound editing programs?

I just realized I needed one happy:

I got all that macromedia, and adobe, and stuff, just none that do sound. Unless flash can edit sound? I don't know how, I only know how to include it.

Adobe Audition (allows for 5.1 sound mixing)

soundforge. now owned by sony use to be a sonic foundry product. probably one of the best programs in the audio industry. its not "that" hard to find.
