BF:Vietnam problemo......
Ok so I install it, it then asks me to put the 1st of 3 disks, after 100%, back in, yes fine....
....so I go to start it up and the splash screen logo comes up and thats it, it crashes, I can't do shit so I have to ctrl,alt,del the program. Grrrrrrrr.... I've tried using different disks, my DX is fine, same goes for my video card drivers.. OMG WTF I NEED HELP FAST!!!!! ANYONE??? |
make sure the cds are clear of smudges etc...otherwise search bfv forums:

I got it, I had to disable the DMA option on the CD-ROM
Been trying it out, I'll need to tweak my system like a bitch to get it running ok on it but at least its working .........Hmmm how much a p4 2.0ghz processors coz I suppose I could upgrade my ancient 1.5..... |

tystnad- because of crappy code i guess- i'm not a expert but from what i found out when i had the problem- thousands of disks went out with this problems- install code should tell windows to jump past splash screen because it's installing. surprise it's not there so the install gets hung at that point. hey bullit do i have to get more specific or can u get your swollen head out of your arrogant ass long enough to figure it out |
