Hey folks,

I'm just trying to set up a combo lan-game server that's open to Gamespy players to come and join. The problem is that no one (outside of the lan) seems able to see it! From what little I know of firewall ports, it sounds like I need to leave certain ports open. My friend tried settin up DMZ on my router, but to no effect. I'm using a Barricade router. Any have any luck trying to do what I'm doing?

Thanx...

Here's what it says on page 14 of the MOHAA Install Guide:

"Medal of Honor Allied Assault uses the following TCP and UDP Port(s) for Internet play:

TCP Port: 12203 (default), 12204-12206
UDP Port: 12203 (default), 12204-12206

Note: You will need TCP and UDP Ports 6667, 3783, 27900, 28900, 29900, 29901, 13139 and 6515 open to use Gamespy to connect to Internet servers"

+++++++++++++++++++++++

Also, I wonder if you are using something like ZoneAlarm. If so, you will have to set it up to allow server for both MOHAA and Gamespy.

Hope this helps.
