one of the least talked about sports o nthe forum, does anyone play here? i play for the school team. as a flanker cool: rock:

I used to be a hooker at school I got paid £5 an hour

never played it. I live in Pennsylvania so we don't get exposed to Rugby around here. I'd like to try it out though sometime.

Almost every PA college has a rugby team. All i know about my school's team is that they could drink anyone under the table.

All i have to say is, it has never really been "forced" upon us as a sport. You'd have to go elsewhere to play the sport which requires initiative which half of teenagers don't have.

My uncle played rugby in college, in PA, I forget which one.

well yes and no.
you have to be in shape (lots of running). you need to be able to throw, make good tackles, see plays before they happen, and be stratigiec.
but most important is strength, and playing as a team. rugby isnt a sport that your "born good" you need to learn it. and expierince
