What class do you belong to

Which class do you support? And vote truly. and yes there is a difference between communist and socialist. Here are examples using cows.

Socialist: You have two cows, you give one to your neighbor
Capitalist: You have two cows, you sell one and buy a bull
Nazist: The government shoots you and takes your cows
Facist: The government takes your cows and sells you the milk
Communist: You milk the cows, the government takes your milk and sells it to you.

Well I wouldnt totally agree with the Nazi one. Nazism in fascism but with overwhelming hate.

jujumantb 05-14-2004 10:13 PM

I also dont agree with the communist one. Communism is socialism but with violent overthrow of the current government. I think that cow example wherever it came from is taking from the soviets who were very much not communist, but a totalitarian state with a think outer shell of communism.

But wasnt facism the system advocated by the nazi party?

Wheres first class?

See, nazism is facism to the extreme. Look at the example:

Nazist : The government shoots you and takes your cows
Facist : The government takes your cows and sells you the milk

Shooting the person is the extreme alternative to stealing from the person.

The communism is difficult for people to understand. When you say communism people think of Soviet Union, China, North Korea, Cuba, and some others. Karl Marx wrote about communism in its purest form in The Communism Manifesto. Lenin had Socialist ideals but in a Communistic state (Overthrowing Tsar Nicholas II). Stalin took communism to the extreme and made it horrible, but covering it up with propaganda. Therefore, the communism most people know about isnt "Pure" Communism..

I disagree on this point. Stalin did not take communist to the extreme, if he did, there would be no stalin :) Communism is rule by the party of workers. Stalin was a totalitarian dictator, definitly not communist to the extreme. But other than that, I agree fo the most part.
