When two homosexual partners decide to adopt a child is it wrong to rear the child into a homosexual?

no....homos are ppl too, they deserve every right we have to adopt a child...the kid is lucky he will have parents, im sure the kid wont be that picky...a caring family is all they want

im wondering the same thing, are you saying that there going to raise him to be gay no matter what?, or are they going to just raise the child.

i have no problems with homosexuals wanting to adopt and raise a child, but if there going to try and turn the child gay buy brainwashing the child then thats a big no no...

Yes thats exactly what I meant. The adopted child is "modified" againt his/her natural instinct and turned into a homosexual jsut like the child's step-parents.

I used to think no on this issue. But how can I say yes to gay marriage, and no to adoption? Its a double standard.

If I say yes to gay marriage, then i'm saying its OK to be gay. If gays want to raise a child, then it probably should be OK since there's nothing wrong with being gay. If I say no, then it's like i'm saying its wrong to be gay, or you shouldn't be gay. Society still believes that being gay is wrong, or not the norm. Were giving them the opportunity to marry, but now we don't want their kids to become like them? Why? Becuase we believe being gay is wrong.

After considering that, I think the kid should beable to make the decision for himself. I think if gays want to adopt a kid they should go through a process like everyone else and have to teach the kid "both ways" so they can decide for themselves if thats at all possible. Maybe its not an environmental thing, maybe its genes and DNA. I don't know.

I think its fine if the parents dont impress thier sexual preference onto the child. Leave it up to the kid to grow up and find out for itself.

gay adoption is ok... forcing the child to be gay is not ok... forcing anyone to believe in something or act a certain way is always bad...

I assume that today's homosexuals had heterosexual parents (as of yet 2 guys or 2 chicks can't make a baby); so it's probably not the parents that make one become gay.
I always thought it was a random genetic thing.
