Even though you didn't ask i'm going to give you 2 recommendations for amps
Fender 2x12 Deville Hot Rod - The 2x12" will blast any amp away and its all natural tubes, not that new age electronics crap ... i also own one of these bad boys and if you turn it up past 1 on the master knob you head will explode (make sure its not the 4x10") http://www.fender.com/products/show.php?partno=0213200 Mesa Boogie Dual Rectifier Head and a cabinent - You will not be dissapointed with the quality metal that this thing can pump out (not cheap though, there also a single and triple rectifier)' http://mesaboogie.com/Product_Info/Rect ... ifier.html I never have tried a marshal except my battery amp i have from them which pwns. I would get one of these cuz the chicks dig em. http://www.music123.com/Marshall-MS2-Mi ... 6857.music Also don't buy a Line 6 ... i had one, its nothing but shit noise. My Samick 6" amp sounds better. I recommend going to a Guitar Center or whatever store is near you and ask them to try the amp with the guitar you own. They'll try to get you to play the amp you want with Les Paul or something to make it sound perfect ... but i would grab the crappiest guitar in the place and test it out. |
the marshalls are good, but the new ones arent good for the price, old ones are worth it, so if you got money, and like loud/distortion, get a marshall, they are good. but mesaboogies i hear are really nice, and an older marshall is probably the best in my opinion
