Modern Warfare Pre Release Update
 
Its been almost a year and a half now since Modern Warfare began. We had our ups and downs lost members gained a few members, took time off, worked hard and we are finally days away from release. We are actually aiming for 2 maybe 3 max. Im trying to stimulate some more interest and get some more traffic to our site.

http://www.modern-warfare.com not a really good site infact its a template as I couldnt get a site designed at this moment. The weapon page doesnt contain all the weapon pictures but ill give you what updates I have now.

We are 3 weapons away from completion, along with map tweaks, loading screens and the final touch ups on the menu. We will be including 4 maps this release with several versions.

Nasiyria - An Iraq desert based map which includes many planks, buildings and houses for cover.

Dry Docks - Several variations including a daytime, nighttime and sunset version

Miami Heat Night - A Miami based city map which includes massive climbable skyscrapers to bring Mohaa to a higher level.

Miami Heat Day - Same skyscrapers as night but is during the day. This map will also include the famous Black Hawk Flyable helicopter. It will be included as a cvar for server admins to chose whether they want to allow it or not.


Objectives:

Dry Dock

Allied Objectives: Drive the forklift by jumping on it (it drives when someone jumps on it) and pick up the nuke when the train enters the station. Drive it along the dock to a waiting truck. The nuke will be placed in the truck and will drive away until it comes to a series of road blocks. Allies must blow each roadblock using explosives so the truck with the nuke can move through each and get out of the city before the nuke explodes. The server admin sets the time limit to which the game goes to before the nuke explodes. Basic objective is to get the nuke out of the dock and city.

Axis Objectives: Prevent the Allies from transporting the nuke out of the city. Must have the nuke explode to complete objective.

Nasiryia

Allied Objectives: Prevent the Axis from destroying a main road into the city.

Axis Objectives: Use the explosives and plant the bomb under the bridge.


The Black Hawk Helicopter:

Will be 100% flyable and manouverable. Server admin can choose to have it on or off. Only found on the map Miami Heat Day. Includes 2 primary weapons, Heat seaking homing missles and a side mounted mini gun. 1 pilot and 1 side gunner. Helicopter will blow up on major impacts or fast landings. Doors only open for the team with the pilot. Doors also open when heli is hovering and can be used to get to the top of the skyscrapers.

Weapons

We have many weapons which replace ever single normal weapon in Mohaa to Modern Converted Weapons. The site does not include the entire list or all the pictures. The weapons are 100% authentic and none have been imported or taken from another game.

Main Weapons to check out.

Allied:

M16 - Includes 3 toggleable modes with the click of the right mouse button. Full Auto, Burst(3 rounds) and of course, a grenade lancher which will launch a nade at a good distance. You will have 2 of them.

MP5: Fast firing, also includes a toggle. This toggle with the right mouse button will turn on a flashlight for use on the night maps. (Very cool)

M4A1: Includes a scope :)

SR16 Sniper: Rapid fire sniper rifle with 10 rounds.

LAW: Standard rocket launcher, very fast rockets, will have 4 rockets

Axis

Ak47 with gp30 - An ak47 full auto which includes a twist. The nade launcher launches toxic gas when impacted. A large green haze will come out engulfing the enemy burning and sofacating. You dont last long.

RPG: The infamous RPG will be a deadly firepower for taking down the blackhawk.

These are just the ones that have more details. All the other weapons are pimped as well and should keep you Mohaa fans busy.


Menus

Our menus in my opinion are amazing. Its a surprise and is under wraps :)


HUD

Completely redesigned, you might be able to find it in some of the newer screenshots.



We are hoping that this mod will have a large impact on the Mohaa Community. We know it has been a long long time and we havent had much to show. Well we do now, we are ALMOST done. Its pretty exciting and we are super excited to give it to you guys. You guys have been super patient and you guys should love this when we release. The maps are intense and when testing this the gameplay has been intense.

We are looking for a few gameserver sponsors and maybe a few other mirrors, game server sponsors will recieve exclusives, beta testing and any new updates. You can also have these features by making a donation to the team for the site and other servers. Email admin@modern-warfare.com

Nice job, was thinking of starting mappng my own for modern cities (Philadelphia, i love the CN maps but dammit there's no trash anywhere lol)

I would have no problem adding these maps alongside the CN ones i have running on my server.

How many players can comfortably be in the maps though ?

Awesome job, Double U. Congratz to the team for the work done so far.

Hopefully the CoD conversion goes smoothly. I'm looking forward to that for sure.
