How do i put a password on my desktop, so when my screensaver comes on and i move the mouse to use the comp it asks for a password?

When you pick the screensaver there is a box you can check for a password.

it should be your logon password.

go to control pannel--> user accounts --> it's self explanatory then

settings-control panel-user accounts-change an account- might work, not sure.
