Naval War Movies?

I am captivated by naval warfare, but unfortunately there arent too many movies in which it is depicted. Ive seen Pirates of Carribean, Midway, and Master Commander, are there any other good ones?

Das Boot is good,
theres a couple older movies about US boats like "Run Silent Run Deep".

"Tora Tora Tora"; about Pearl Harbor (much better than the new crap)

"They Were Expendable" is a story about Lt.Cdr. Buckley and his squadron of PT boats in the Philippines in late 1941.

I couldn't stand that movie when my dad forced me to watch it...probably because I was so little and such a short attention span and got tired of reading subtitles or something.

U571 is a crock of historically inaccurate shyt. Hollywood took something the Royal Navy did & wrapped it in a U.S. flag. It's like Pinewood Studios taking Okinawa & making it into a tea party. eek:

These movies rock;
