EU Election
http://www.cnn.com/2004/WORLD/europe/06 ... index.html
Can anyone from Europe tell me exactly what this means? I havent paid too much to details about the EU, so I'm not to politically savvy in that area. What does this mean for Europeans? Is it one party replacing another? |
basically each country of the eu has representatives in the eu parliment, and those representatives are made up of different percentages of parties(not sure how much) and these results show that well over here, alot of votes have gone to the parties that are not in power, especially the anti-joining europe party so their parties will have more respresentatives seats because of it. But i didnt vote because i couldnt give a shit.

our boys fought to conquer empire, empire - £. We also fought Germany in ww1 to limit their economic expansion etc & thus preserve our dominance &tc &tc. Lotta people did die so you could have a choice in electing a government though. I would prefer going back to absolute monarchs... |
meh, the european parliament is the weakest link of the EU anyways sleeping:
