How is it? I will get more pictures soon. |
Arms dont match the chest and it's a little plain. Add some blood or something to make it less plain.
|
Well, I just looked in game at SH, and that is how the Ranger looks with his arms and chest. Thanks for the suggestion Hawke, I'm just a bgeginner at skinning cry:

When he actually gives contructive critscism, you spoil it all by being a cockmunch. GG, asshat. Reiben, i agree with Hawke. A tad plain, otherwise its pretty good for a beginner. Keep at it, and youll be our new HeadUp. happy: |
ye dude put a tear in his clothing would look cool maybe off teh arm like he's used it to cut circulation :D

hahahahaha Have you ever skinned? If so, anything good? Didn't think so. If you know anything about skinning you would say it's plain but since you're a n00b, you wouldn't know. On D-Day and such medics fixed people up, I'm sure that person was touching the medic and got blood on them. I helped him out. You should die. kthx You're welcome Reiben, just keep your head up and don't give up. Edit: I just noticed those patches above his medic arm band, get rid of those. It would look better without them. |
Add a custom face. Makes a big impact.

Too much testosterone in here lately JEEEEZZZ!!
In the words of rodney king "oww ouch stop hittin me!!!" But he also said "Cant we all just get along!!! calmdown: Scorp calmdown: |
Yawn, that crap sucks. I've seen it all 873945689345 times. Now I would proceed with flaming but I'm trying to stop.
|
St@tic, make those pictures links instead, or im pretty sure a mod will do it for you.

MPowell, a custom face is something I have no idea how to do. I have seen a guide on how to put your own face into the game, but I don't want to do that. How could I put, let's say, the face of Irwin Wade from SPR onto the chracters face? BTW, STOP FLAMING MY TOPIC! *equips firefighter gear*

DJ can do that but I think he's busy. You copy the face and cut it I think and stretch things. Not sure how, ask a pro. [DJ] |
Thanks a lot Hawke, but it sounds pretty damn complicated. I'm working on v1.2 of the 2nd Ranger BN Veteran Medic Skin. So far, I have taken out the patches above his medic armbands (pretty easy, all i had to do was take some of his shirt and copy it right over the patch), i have put a medic insignia on his pouch, and added blood to it (not too much), and when I finish it, I will post more pictures and await more suggestions. BTW, anyone know if (im trying to make this skin reflect a real medic in the 2 RBN) the medics had two armbands, or one on their left and nothing on their right, or one on their right and nothing on their left, or on both arms? And if they only have one armband on the left or right arm, did they have their rank on the other arm? Yeah, that's complicated too, and YES I have tried G00gle, but to no avail. I know a good amount of history myself, but not about medics. There was some stuff about the Geneva Convention where medics had to wear something that actually identified themselves as medics, so im not sure what they wore and where they wore it.
